Day 1
Our adventure begins as we travel south toward Georgia, with a comfortable overnight stop in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This allows time to relax and recharge before continuing on to Savannah.
Day 2
Today we arrive in beautiful Savannah, Georgia, known for its moss-draped oaks, historic squares, and Southern charm. We check in for a four-night stay at the Hampton Inn in the Historic District, conveniently located near River Street, where this lively waterfront buzzes with music, shops, and restaurants. This evening, we enjoy dinner at the historic and iconic Pirate’s House Restaurant.
Day 3
This morning we explore Savannah aboard a Historic City Trolley Tour, providing a wonderful overview of the city’s architecture and history.
We will visit:Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Museum (Girl Scout founder), and the American Prohibition Museum. After our touring, enjoy free time on Broughton Street for shopping and strolling before this evening’s highlight—a Gospel Dinner Cruise aboard the Savannah Riverboat, featuring Southern cuisine and inspiring music.
Day 4
Today we travel to the coast for a guided tour of Tybee Island with a knowledgeable step-on guide. Highlights include: Tybee Island Lighthouse and a Dolphin Tour along the coast. Lunch is included at North Beach Bar & Grill, this afternoon we will make custom salt scrubs at Salacia Salts.
Dinner is on your own tonight to explore Savannah at your leisure.
Day 5
This morning we visit: Bonaventure Cemetery, renowned for its haunting charm and famous for its moss-draped oaks and historic gravesites, it embodies the city’s connection to memory, legacy, and Southern Gothic atmosphere—the same essence captured in The Night Before Good and Evil. Walking among its monuments feels like stepping into Savannah’s stories, where history and legend intertwine Then we visit Wormsloe State Park, featuring the famous oak-lined avenue
Lunch is on your own at Erica Davis Lowcountry, followed by a sweet stop at the Byrd Cookie Company.
Enjoy a free afternoon before gathering for our farewell dinner at 45 Bistro.
Day 6
We begin the day with a visit to the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, honoring the bravery of World War II airmen.
Afterward, we depart Savannah and travel to Marietta, Georgia, for an overnight stay.
Day 7
Our journey home includes a stop in Nashville, Tennessee, with time for lunch and shopping at Opry Mills before continuing home.
